Setting Small and Large Deal Sizes
By default, Altify looks to the associated sales process to determine whether an opportunity qualifies as small, average or large. For more information on configuring these thresholds, see Advanced Editing of a Sales Process.
If an opportunity does not have an assigned sales process, or your organization does not use Sales Process Manager, you can still set deal size thresholds. In this way your org's AI assistant can identify small and large deals when responding to your users' queries.
To specify the deal size thresholds that are used in the absence of an assigned sales process, do the following:
-
In Setup, go to Custom Settings.
-
Click Manage beside Altify Opportunity Manager Settings.
-
Click Edit.
-
Enter the relevant amount for both of the following settings:
-
Small Deal Size: typically set to one quarter of your average deal size, this is the value of an opportunity which you consider to be very small when compared to your average deal size.
-
Large Deal Size: typically set to four times your average deal size, this is the value of an opportunity which you consider to be very large when compared to your average deal size. Your AI assistant will recommend the prioritization of coaching and resource allocation for these deals.
